Santa Clara County Court Guide
Editorial Policy
Our editorial goal is to help users complete a court-information task safely and reach the correct official service.
Originality and usefulness
Content must be original, written for a clear user intent, and more useful than a list of keywords or copied descriptions. We avoid filler, repeated generic paragraphs, and mass-produced pages.
Official-source preference
Changing court facts must be supported by an official court, California Judicial Branch, or responsible county office source. Third-party summaries are not used as the final authority for deadlines, fees, forms, or access rules.
Independence
Advertising does not control our explanations or official-link choices. We do not sell record reports, accept paid placement in court-service recommendations, or disguise ads as official buttons.
Legal-information boundaries
We explain navigation and publicly available procedures, not legal strategy. We do not interpret a user’s case, recommend a legal position, or promise an outcome.
Corrections
Substantive error reports are checked against official sources. Confirmed errors are corrected and the relevant verification date is updated.
